I HAVE to laugh about that! I got busted by a city cop stealing a cone as I was walking across the street when I was in high school. Came around the corner just as I got to the other side with it. Still have a couple of street signs that I got that summer too. Cool

Picked one up from my exit-ramp construction years ago, actually needed it for a training tool for my dog. Luckily escaped undetected! But I digress.....

Thanks for the tip on a great buy. I can't figure out if these are direct replacement for my 2004 models, but I'm gonna give them a shot!

I had "un-buyers" remorse about the dynamat. Bad news is CS can't add them to my order b/c it is already processing. Sad

Good news is that they created another order for $15 and are sending qty 3 of the regularly priced $27 each dynamat -- with NO shipping. Now that is CS! Very Happy

Here is the dynamat product. I will use it in the tow vehicle.

I'm disappointed in you McGyver! With all the mods you do, I would have thought you could build this yourself out of aluminum foil and some type of batting for far less. Laughing Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Surprised Very Happy Shocked

Normally, yes, but I am on my last case of duct tape and need to conserve a little. Wink

Have a few more years before I can share any of those stories with my boys, but of course they'll probably have their own stories to tell me then. Laughing

I think with the 6.75" adapter it will drop in just fine. It's a little underpowered for my MU (I think), but I'm just going to match the amp up to the speakers when I get around to installing it.

If you're order comes out to $150 or more, then try code 3A865 to get a $25 gift card back. Found that in an e-mail. Expires 7/31/2010.

They said there was a $200 min. order for that code and that these speakers were not included? Great deal on the speakers regardless...
Thanks for the info and trying to help.

Ebay has them for $60 with free shipping

I accidentally came across these this morning while looking for amps. I prefer Crutchfield (even though these are a little cheaper). If you find yourself wanting to buy from Crutchfield and their out or go up, then you might give this seller a try.

New speakers were just delivered for free after ordering late Tuesday night. Can't wait to put them in the boat this afternoon and have them for the Poker Run tomorrow.

Installed mine Friday as well and was really happy with the sound. Are you guys running amps to your speakers and if so what size?

Here are some shots of mine installed.

A few notes. I like the way the woofer color blends with the brown fabric on the rear four speakers. FYI the tweeters can swivel about 8 degrees in all directions.

Nice! I need to climb back in mine and make the connections a little more permanant. I only secured them enough to cruise around in for testing. Did you, or are you going to, solder your connections?
